Sri Kumaran Hospital was established in 1989, 35 years ago with a small clinical set-up and raised to the level of a complete Women’s Centre in Obstetrics and Gynaec Hospital by Dr Ummaiyal Murugesan the Founder and Managing Director. Her hard work, dedication, passion, and commitment earned a trust among the people in west Tambaram and surrounding areas. Also for those couples who were not having babies, she established ” All Win” a fertility centre in 2018 and gave hope to young couples for their dreams to come true. Sri Kumaran Hospital also has an Oncology Department for cancer patients. With all the pride she is now treating third-generation patients with her experience and expertise. Now her son Dr Annith Kumar who specialises in infertility treatment joined hands with her mother and established Promise Fertility Centre in the year 2022, a unit of Sri Kumaran Hospital. She is the guiding factor and many thousand-plus babies were born and gained a reputation with the people of Chennai. Yet another milestone of Sri Kumaran Hospital is expanding the service at East Tambaram with Vani Hospital as it branches a multispeciality Hospital catering medical services for all alignments.
